I CAN

Every ability begins with a belief in oneself. If we trust that we can BE, then we can BECOME. 

I CAN

I know I can:

I can be the stars that sparkle.

Even when the lights are dim,

I will dazzle in the dark.

I can be the eagle

Soaring through the highest mountains,

Unwilling to settle for less,

Piercing through the clouds,

Aiming for the peak always.

I can have dreams like the ocean;

Vast and never ending,

With a drive like the oceanic current

To make my dreams true.

I know I can trust a prayer,

And believe in myself;

To be bold and true

Refusing to play the victim

In a flip of page

Fear has staged

Of a drama, life has scripted.
