A TALE OF LOVE AND I

A tale of love and I is a reflection of our fears and insecurities about being vulnerable to loving someone. Nevertheless, we chose to embrace love someday.

A TALE OF LOVE AND I

I threw love a stone

She took the throw

And turned my stone

Into a precious jewel.

I threw love a golf

She made it a weapon

To shield and protect me

When life trolls.

I threw love a flower

She brought back a bouquet

A rose for every beat

Petals of fragrance birthing peace

I threw love a spark

She made it a flame

One that ever rekindles

Burning in the depth of my heart.

I threw love away

She came again

Calming my fears

Telling me I was dear

And that she will never fade away.

I held love anyway

Choosing to trust her again

I drew her closer

And made the veil of fear blow away.
